Website update

on Tue, 09/29/2020 - 16:21

The food pantry is on hiatus during the pandemic. We are supporting the town's Emergency Response Bedford Food Bank with food, money and volunteers. We've updated this website to reflect this partnership.

No food donations, please

on Thu, 05/28/2020 - 21:40

For the safety of all involved, we cannot accept donations of food for the foreseeable future. Tax-deductible monetary donations are than welcome, though--we continue to support the Bedford Food Bank behind the scenes!

Bedford Food Bank opens Friday, 3/20, at JGMS

on Thu, 03/19/2020 - 02:33

The town of Bedford will offer a temporary food bank at John Glenn Middle School on Fridays starting 3/20. Current food pantry clients may pick up food from 12-2 pm. For all the details, check this link. We expect the Bedford Food Bank to operate for the duration of the COVID-19 crisis. The food pantry and community dinners will resume when the food bank closes down and it is safe to reopen.

Pantry and dinners suspended starting 3/12/20

on Wed, 03/11/2020 - 15:23

For the safety of our clients and volunteers, neither the pantry nor the community dinners will be held until further notice. We are very sorry to have to do this, but see no good alternative given the presence of Covid-19 in Bedford. We will let you know as soon as we can safely restart these services.
