Concord CROP Walk on Sunday, October 14
Support the Bedford Food Pantry and other local food pantries by participating in or donating to the Concord Area CROP Walk for the Hungry. It's happening on Sunday, October 14, stepping off at 2:15 at First Parish in Concord. Online donations are now live, and more information can be found at http://www.concordcrop.org/cms/. This is a great cause and an important source of support for the Bedford Food Pantry.
Pantry now opens at 4:30.
Operating hours for the Food Pantry are now Thursdays, 4:30-6:00. We hope this later schedule will be more convenient and encourage everyone to stay for the complimentary Community Dinner at 5:00.
Pantry clients please enter through front door
Because the Bedford Town Center building is undergoing renovations, we have changed the procedure for Food Pantry clients. Instead of coming in the back door marked "Deliveries", please enter through the front door and walk down the stairs. Wait in the hallway until you reach the front of the line, at which point you will receive your bags and free items. Then you can stay for dinner in the room across from the Pantry, or exit through the back door. Thanks for your cooperation!
Bedford Get In Shape for Women promotion extended
For the rest of the summer, every time a Bedford GISFW client refers a friend who ends up becoming a GISFW member, the Food Pantry will receive $100. We'll also get $1 for every pound lost by members who bring a friend. Help yourself, your friends, the pantry, and a local business all at the same time! Many thanks to Bedford Get In Shape for Women.
June promotion at Bedford Get In Shape for Women supports Food Pantry!
Our friends at Bedford's Get In Shape for Women are helping the Food Pantry with a promotion in June. They are running a weight loss challenge where clients can bring a friend, and for every pound lost, they will donate $1 to the Pantry. Also, for each of these friends that joins GISFW, they will donate $100. This is a great way to do something good for yourself and for Bedford Food Pantry. Thanks, GISFW!
